TERRA the Sustainability Net Zero Pavilion
With its main canopy roof solar array and sun following directional “energy trees” the building achieves net-zero energy during its operational life and net-zero water achieve through a combination of water recycling and treatment of recovered condensate from the air cooling systems.

Terra also aims to act as a living laboratory that will inspire visitors to learn and understand the issues around human kinds impact on the natural environment and how we can live a sustainable existence.

Terra transformed into a sustainability and Science Centre post-Expo and along with other major cultural assets, including Al Wasl Plaza, the Mobility Pavilion and Dubai Exhibition Centre, will remain as permanent fixtures in Expo City Cultural center.

Terra is one of the key venues for the UAE COP28 international event to be held at Expo City in November 2023.
