Martin's deep experience in design, combined with his early background in fine art and construction, allows him to deliver innovative and buildable projects for some of the world's most sought-after architectural practices and master developers.
Born in London, Martin has worked and studied in the UK, Australia, and the Middle East. He mentors, motivates, and leads design and development on various project types, his cross-cultural expertise has helps him to build successful visionary projects in diverse contexts.
ProcessMartin’s design methodology is founded on research for context appropriate solutions and cultural continuity. Special emphasis is given to design solutions driven by cultural context and focused on the end user, meeting development targets with a high degree of attention to climate, scale, and sustainability.
He collaborates with clients and stakeholders to refine and clarify development briefs, using sketches and visualisation to explore planning and massing solutions that most importantly, create places where people want to be.
He oversees his concepts through the design stages, leading teams to deliver the best design outcomes, working with contractors to deliver the best possible outcomes. Career HighlightsMartin has worked with leading real estate developers, architects and contractors, from Australian star architect Daryl Jackson and industry leading developers such as Australia’s Westfield, Mirvac, Lend Lease, along with leading consultants in London. In the middle east he has worked in Doha, Dubai and Riyadh for startup developer Nshama and GCC’s top established developer Emaar, Martin currently is at Diriyah Company in Riyadh which leads one KSA’s largest Giga-Projects.
Martin has delivered cultural, mixed-use projects, retail centers, residential and commercial assets for leading clients, master developers, and architectural practices.

As a student of Architecture, he won the RAIA Student Biennale National Award for Architectural Design in 1996.
His projects have also won the RAIA Gold Medal for the Olympic 2000 Village Units (HPA Mirvac) and more recently delivered the multi-award-winning Terra the Sustainability Pavillion (2021) and Best International Commercial High-Rise Development for Burj Alfardan, Qatar.
Martin leads teams to deliver demanding and complex design and delivery challenges, with a passion for timeless and elegant designs that require out-of-the-box thinking.
